Thailand   

 Thailand has become Asia's primary holiday destination with over 9 million foreigners flying into the country each year, and is a popular first stop on any overland journey through Southeast Asia. After Bangkok, travellers head for the beach at Thailand's southern coasts which are lined with gorgeous white-sand shores, aquamarine seas and kaleidoscopic reefs --- and the most popular of these are the east-coast backpacker resorts of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao.  Travellers also head north to the enjoyably laid-back city of Chiang Mai.  The climate is humid and hot throughout the year with an average annual temperature of 28 degree C (83 degree F), and 3 seasons: Hot (Mar-May); Rainy (Jun-Oct); Cool (Nov-Feb).
