India

India is the second most populous country on the planet. India borders  the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea and Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; Bangladesh, Myanmar and the Bay of Bengal to the east. This diverse and fertile country was colonized, plundered and controlled by Britain during  the 19th and 20th centuries, until  India finally formed its own country in 1947.
